ADOPTION INFORMATION
All of our puppies are raised in our home as part of the family. They are a minimum of 8 weeks old before going to a new home. They are vet checked, dewormed, have started to be house broken, and are very well socialized to insure a smooth transition from our home to yours.
Even though both sexes make wonderful companions the males tend to be even more snuggly and loving. The females love you and the males are in love with you. All of our puppies are AKC Registered and must be spayed and neutered by the age of six months. We require this to protect the Cavalier breed. All the puppies come with a written health guarantee.
We will accept a $500.00 deposit to hold a puppy. This deposit is non-refundable. Do not put down a deposit unless your intent is to purchase a puppy from Kosbab Cavaliers. Any deposits that are put down on puppies and you change your mind, find a puppy elsewhere, etc. will be automatically forfeited.
We look at puppy adoption as a lifelong commitment. If for any reason you cannot fulfill this obligation, we request that you return them to us so we can find a new home. We do not ever want to see any of our puppies in a rescue situation
HEALTH GUARANTEE
We offer a very good guarantee of health, a 5 year MVD and a 1 year life threatening hereditary or congenital defect and it will be in writing.
However, we would like to say that even though we have an exact amount of time that the dog is guaranteed, we would like to promise any person that adopts one of our puppies: We will always be reasonable, fair and make things right in the event something does go wrong. We have done everything in our power to breed healthy dogs by health testing every adult dog for all the major health issues in the Cavalier breed. We do not have a crystal ball and cannot absolutely guarantee that your Cavalier will not ever have a problem. We can guarantee that we will make it right with you if something were to happen. If your do were to die from any hereditary or congenatile defect at any time in his or her life, we want you to contact us. We want to be aware of any defects so that we can breed cautiously in the future. If we feel that the problem was our fault as a breeder or your dog died too prematurely, we will make it right with you.
